Ferrosilicon is a ferroalloy composed of iron and silicon, which is made by electric furnace smelting with coke, steel scrap and quartz (or silica) as raw materials. Used as deoxidizer and alloying agent in steelmaking.

Ferrosilicon powder is processed from high-quality ferrosilicon. It is mainly used in the later stage of steelmaking, casting and other smelting processes. As a diffusion deoxidizer and inoculant, it is generally used with specifications of 0-3mm and 3-8mm.
